There will be a Bone Marrow Donor Education and Drive sign up table at the Holiday Craft Fair at the church this Sunday from 10:00-4:00. All it takes is a mouth swab and registration to be entered into the worldwide database.

There is an immediate need for Ally, a two-year-old boy born to second generation Korean American parents who are now working in London. In February 2016, Ally was diagnosed with Chronic Granulomatous Disorder, an extremely rare and life-threatening blood cancer. It is a disease in which the body has virtually no immune system, and even the smallest infection can cause death. The only cure is through bone marrow transplant surgery.

A bone marrow donor is urgently needed to save Ally’s life. So far, no matching donor has been found after searching all the worldwide databases. If you are 18 to 44, and would like to register with the bone marrow/organ donor database, it only takes a few minutes of your time. And you may be able to save the life of Ally or another young person.
