Following a sell-out performance last year in Fairfield, the Yale Wiffenpoofs, a premier male a capella singing group, will return this year on Saturday April 14, 2012, at 3:00 p.m.  The group has recently returned from a world tour, and Fairfield will be their only performance stop in Southwestern Connecticut this spring.

As it was last year, this year’s show will be in the main sanctuary of the Fairfield-Grace United Methodist Church, 1089 Fairfield Woods Rd., Fairfield.  Only 300 concert tickets will be sold for guaranteed seats in the main sanctuary or balcony.  Once these are sold out, there will only be some seating in the parlor, rear foyer and choir loft (behind the singers).

Tickets will be on sale at the church (9:00-2:30 M-F, or 11:30-12:00

a.m. Sunday mornings). Or you can order by mail by sending a check to Fairfield-Grace UMC, 1089 Fairfield Woods Rd., Fairfield, CT 06825. Tickets ordered by mail will be held for pickup at the concert.  Tickets may also be purchased on line with a credit card at:

http://whiffenpoofs.ticketbud.com/fairfieldgraceumc

Ticket prices are $15 for seniors and students 18 & under, $20 for

general adult seating, and $25 for PRIORITY front two row seating (only 32 Priority seats are available).

Following the concert the church will host its regular spaghetti dinner ($11 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $5 for children under 12). The Wiffenpoofs will be our dinner guests.  The dinner is all you can eat with a choice of three sauces, salads, desserts, beverages and garlic bread.
